I'm restoring a grand old stone-house built in 1915. Over the years many layers of paint have been applied to the cast cement base plates for the porch support columns and the very large cast window sills and headers. Of all the various methods I've attempted using DoradoStrip and a 3000 PSI power washer is far and away the best method. The DoradoStrip softens the many layers of paint and the power washer takes it all off.
I bought a Graco Magnum PX19 sprayer and used a high speed drill to mix the remover. Sprayed it on came back the next day easier to scrape the old paint off. Took at least half as much effort, probably more once I learned how to spray the remover on better. It works. I would have given a 5 star rating, but the description says almost any sprayer will work. That is incorrect. You need 0.019 tip with this remover, which from what I've read means professional sprayer.
