DEFY Composite Deck Waterproofing Sealer gal

I'm pleased with both the product and the customer service. I purchased this product to add a protective coating to my TREX / Composite deck. We were finding that over time it was starting to get damaged. The DEFY Composite Deck Waterproofing Sealer goes on clear and seems to add a water barrier that we hope will increase the durability of our deck. The product needs to be applied when the weather is dry and again fully dry before moving furniture back onto the deck. < p>

Once I cleaned the decking of algae and moss build up, I applied this product. Wow! The deck looks like new or better and really repels water. I applied some in the sun and it does repel but the section I applied on a cool shady morning really absorbed much better and is the way I will do the rest. I don't know how long it will last or if the moss will come back, but we are hoping to extend the life of our decking.

Applied DEFY waterproofing sealer to our new composite deck one day and it rained the next. Water beaded like it does on a waxed car. So far we are pleased with this product.

I had been looking for a composite deck sealer for a long time. Finally found this and purchased 2 gallons. So far wonderful product. Very pleased.

Used this product to try to seal the deck after our last thorough cleaning. Within a month the mold was back. It is not the money but the time I put into this that is really aggravating. We had a pretty dry sunny summer here and even that didn't help. Do not waste your time.

The sealer was very easy to apply to my clean deck. We had rain the next day and the water beaded up on the deck as I had hoped. The sealer performed as advertised.

2 weeks after applying DEFY, with rain almost every day, it appears that the product lives up to its advertisements. I did watch a YouTube video about applying the product with a bristle brush. It made it a bit more difficult than rolling it on, however if the mold spots do not reappear in the near future, then we will have success. And by reading some of the reviews on this site, I waited until the sun was off the deck to apply DEFY. The deck cleaner that I used was Corteclean, and it does the trick to neutralize the mold, before putting down any new product. I have not tried the DEFY cleaner yet.

So far the product is good. Only had on 2 weeks. Went on easy.

Went on very nice, seemed to make a nice difference, brightened the deck color... i will know more next year.
